Author’s note: Thanks, Kat for looking this over for me.

“Hey, Hungary!” Prussia called out as he approached. It had been a month since he had last seen her as it had taken him that long to get over getting an eyeful of her cleavage. Somehow, now that they were all grown up, it was much worse than when he had felt her aching chest and discovered she was a girl. Plastering a cocky grin on his face, he wondered if things had changed between them.

Hungary had been dozing and she was a bit annoyed at being disturbed. “What do you want, Prussia?” Lacing her fingers together, she brought her hands up over her head and stretched.

“Nothing…” He frowned. “Your ummm… your flower’s kinda falling out.”

“My what…? Oh…” Hungary tucked it back behind her ear. “Better?”

“Yeah.” Prussia took a deep breath and sat down next her. He leaned back against the tree, his fingers laced together as a pillow for his head.

Hungary giggled. “You not only look like a priest, you act like one now.” She poked him in the side.

“Hey!” Prussia contorted his body as her sharp jab startled him. “I used to be an Order, now I’m a Duchy.” Drawing his knees up, he wrapped his arms around them, resting his chin on his knees. He eyed her out the corner of his eye, alert for her tricks.

Hungary made a sound of disgust. “Well, I’m still a country, Dumbass, and always will be.”

He rolled his eyes.

“Still living with men?”

“What are you, my mother?”

“You wish!” Hungary punched his arm.

He sighed. “I’m tired of all the nonsense. My people are uneasy like scared bunnies. First we were Catholic, now we’re secular and Protestant. And to make it even worse, I have no idea if I belong to myself, or Poland, or Lithuania.” He sighed. “Truthfully, I’m itching to get out of these clothes and back into chainmail.” Prussia smiled. “Those were the days.”

Hungary nodded. “Lusting after battles, hunh?”

“Kinda, I wasn’t made for peace, Hungary. I keep hoping we’d go on a crusade or something.”

“That’d be fun! Maybe you can come help me kick some Turkish ass!” She grinned.

“Yeah! We’d fight all day, bury the dead, and drag the wounded off to be helped as best we could, and then sleep out under the stars…”

She nodded. “Peace sucks!”

“Yup!! Although, Now that I’m more of a Duchy than an Order, who knows?” He shrugged. “Maybe we’ll go to war with my brother. Holy Roman Empire wasn’t happy about my conversion. Hell, I’m not happy about it either.”

“I know.” Hungary stood and dusted off the back of her pants. “Anyway, as much as I’d like to stay-”

“You have to go,” he finished for her. He also stood. “See you around.”

“Bye!” Hungary kissed his cheek, catching him by surprise, before punching his arm again.

Hungary grinned and walked away.

Prussia watched her go, glad things had not changed between them one bit.
