Ganked from Kat & Dizzojay!

Stolen from dizzojay & kat:

Hardback or paperback:
Mostly paperback, but I'll take hardcovers too.

Borrow or buy:
I generally buy so I can take my time reading them. :D

Fantasy or Sci-Fi:

Love-Triangle or love at first sight:
Even though I tend to write romance, I really don't like reading it. XD

Wall shelves or bookcases:
Bookcases & wherever else there's a spot to stack them. ;p

Bad plot with good characters or good plot with bad characters:
How about good plot with good characters?

Harry Potter or Percy Jackson:
I was reading Harry Potter & I have all the books (in hardcover too!), but I've never finished the series. XD

Booklr or Bookstagram:

Contemporaries or Fantasy:

English books or books in your native language:
English is my native language, so English. While I* do own some doujinshi, I ahve to figure out the story based on the pix. XD

Buy in a bookshop or buy online:
Bookshop, but sadly, they've become extinct around here. Thank you Amamzon!! (sarcastic kira is sarcastic. :D)

Amazon or Book Depository:

Buy because of the cover or because of the description:
The cover will always grab me first; then I read the blurb & a few lines inside to see if I'll like it.

Alphabetical shelves or color coordinated:
My books are arranged on my shelves any old way; manga I try to put in numerical order. XD

Different sized books or matching sizes:
However they'll fit in space I've got, so big books will be next to little books, thick next to thin.

Wait to marathon a series or read as they’re released:
I don't usually do series, but if I have enough money, I will as much of it as I can & I read them in order. It might take me months to read what I've got, or it could take years. *still hasn't finished HP despite getting each book as it came out*

Movie or TV adaptations:

Reading indoors or outdoors:
Mostly indoors, but I do bring books to amuse myself if I'm somewhere outdoors where I'll be awhile like at the beach.

Coffee or Tea:
Tea please.

Bookmarks or random objects to mark your page:
Random objects, bookmarks, & I will dogear a page if I have no other choice, but I prefer not to.

Be your favourite character or be their best friend:
If I was younger, I'd say, "depends..." Now that I'm older, I just enjoy the character for what they bring to the book, without wanting to be them or their friend. XD

Physical or e-book:
Physical. I have several e-books, but I never read them. XD

Read in bed or on a chair:
Anywhere that's comfy is good. :D

Audio book or e-book:

Series or stand-alones:
I'd rather read stand-alones. I'm currently on book 2 of "Game of Thrones" & I have no idea if it'll ever be finished or not. XD

Reading in the winter or reading in the summer:
Anytime's a good time for reading! :D

I have to admit owing a great debt to Amazon in terms of books, both for difficult-to-find ones and because it's not easy to find English-language books over here in the first place, but the death of U.S. bookstores is incredibly depressing. Both bookstores and video rental shops are still alive and well over here, and I make a point of using both.

Totally with you on e-books!

That makes sense where you are to rely on Amazon. It's sad that when I go to Florida to visit my granny, I make sure we go to a bookstore. My granny doesn't mind; she loves books too. :D There used to be to video rental places here when I was little & if we were good, we'd get to go on the weekend to rent a movie. The one used to be a used bookstore, then it was the video place & now's a real estate office. The other place was empty for a while before it was remade into an urgi-care walk-in clinic. It's just sooo sad that these types of businesses are gone. T.T

Yeah? :D
